Biography
Hal Hughes is a former MMA fighter who has served his province as a police officer for the last fourteen years. In the course of his duties, he sustained two separate severe traumatic brain injuries 5 years apart. These incidents also led to a diagnosis of PTSD, Bipolar, as well as “Officer” Hal fighting addiction. In his keynote speeches, Hal explains how he rebuilt himself from a suicidal recluse to someone who has become a leader in helping other first responders and military dealing with trauma reclaim their lives. In addition to being a married father of four, Hal is also a member of Mensa and is currently completing graduate work in psychology.
