Biography
Jessi Cruickshank is the Canadian Screen Award-nominated host of CBC’s smash hit Canada’s Smartest Person, and CBC’s daytime talk show The Goods. Hailed as “one of the funniest women on TV today, period” by The Province, Cruickshank grew up in Vancouver, where she broke into comedy as the only girl in an all-male improv troupe alongside Seth Rogen. She soon became a household name as the face of MTV, hosting the daily show MTV LIVE and smash hit The Hills After Show; which was syndicated in 10 countries and generated record-breaking ratings in Canada and the U.S.
Cruickshank relocated to Los Angeles to host Live from E!, Oh Sit! Jerseylicious, Olympic Morning, Daily Pop and recently wrapped 6 seasons as the L.A. host of Canada’s #1 entertainment show, eTalk. Jessi has also travelled the world as a keynote speaker and the Canadian ambassador for Free The Children. Most recently she became the first Canadian to create her own sho, called “New Mom, Who Dis?” on the worlds largest streaming platform, Facebook Watch.
