He has a Master of Arts Management Degree from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Windsor, a Diploma in Career Counselling from George Brown College, and a Certificate in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University. Prior to being a speaker, he worked in opera, insurance, theatre, fund-raising, personal growth and counselling.
